We've had a lot of people apply to work with us over the past 18 months, many of whom have college degrees and experience. But we found it difficult to find the desire and commitment we're looking for and we think we know why.
A college degree and/or experience comes with a lot of expectation. The cost of acquiring education is very expensive and the demands of the employee from the start are very high. Unfortunately however, education, experience and high demands are not a guarantee of quality.
We believe desire & determination are key factors when looking to hire talent. Hunger to succeed and the willpower to remain focused through any challenge, we feel, is more prevalent within self-taught and under-experienced groups and the motivation to succeed is much higher.
