We are designing a digital signage solution for our customer that will display production floor data to their warehouse repair staff.
We have a MySQL database that needs to display its data onto 2, 60" monitors using PHP.
We need someone to design PHP pages that will display this data in an attractive manner. The application should display the MySQL data with the following specifications:
1. The data on each screen should show in two columns. 50 rows per column should be displayed. 100 rows total on each single screen (see attached image of mockup).
2. Screen one will display records 1-100 (50 rows per column). Screen two will display the "overflow" showing records 101-200. These can be two different PHP pages to keep things simple: localhost/page1 (on monitor 1) and localhost/page2 (on monitor 2) for example (see attached image of mockup).
3. Both screens should refresh at regular intervals (every 30 seconds for example). This number should be adjustable (from the code side is fine)
4. Look and feel: Data grid should display data in a pleasing, yet highly visible way using a striped grid (alternating white/grey). Fonts and colors to be easily adjusted via CSS.
5. The pages should be formatted primarily for portrait display so the 50 displayed rows do not require scrolling. However, page should be responsive so it can display on landscape as well (with scrolling required).
6. Records with "hot_flag" = Y should be colored red and have a font color that is easy to read against the red background.
