Help with custom Dataset for DER(Dynamically Expandable Representation)

I have a project to make an Incremental Machine Learning method, specifically DER(Dynamically Expandable Representation), to train using a custom dataset instead.
Currently the algorithm isn't able to use the dataset due to either dataset or annotation generation problems. The algorithm runs fine when using CIFAR and imagenet datasets.
Attached is the algorithm that I have somewhat debugged for Python 3.9 and my attempt to allow the algorithm to use my dataset.
