I'm trying to get Apache httpd to route to my Tomcat site but pick the right SSL certificate, based on the domain of entry, i.e. [login to view URL] or xyz.net.
The [login to view URL] and SSL Certificate for it is linked to a Tomcat instance via ProxyBalancer. All works like a charm.
I recently purchased the xyz.net. So I bought a new SSL certificate for it. Wasn't sure how to configure it. So ended up adding a new virtual host section with same entries as for [login to view URL] but with the SSLCertificateFile pointing to new certificate. I'm trying to avoid duplication of the entire site just cause of the new certificate. Any way to direct SSL 443 traffic to this VirtualHost if domain of entry is [login to view URL]
I configured the 2nd VirtualHost section with ServerName set to [login to view URL], but Apache only sees the SSL certificate for [login to view URL] . Need help fast.

Hi, PerlIsFun give you the answer. To use 2+ certificats you have to use a different ip or a different port, you can manage it with your loadbalancer. Any way I can help you.
Hi, I'm an experienced system administrator. I have experience maintaining Linux and Windows servers. Ready to help you. Thank you
What you are trying to d is not possible with a single IP address. Some newer browsers support a TLS connection which sends the encrypted hostname, but older browsers do not support this.
