Mac OS App debug and fix

I need someone to take a working mac os app and help me fix the UI. I'm stuck and need someone to help me get past this current problem. This is a simple and quick job. A qualified person can easily do it in a few hours. Please only bid if you're ok with that scope.

I am a skilled iOS developer but I'm not experienced with Mac OS. The app is currently "functional" but it needs some fixes to the UI. I only need help with the UI part.

My total budget on this project is $50 - $100 USD. I'm posting it as hourly. But we can not go over $100. If it did you would be making the job harder than it needs to be. Higher hourly rates are possible for quick workers.

My app is a modification of the SceneKitDocumentViewer which is an apple sample app. You can get that sample on apple's dev site. As you can see from my screenshot, the window still shows SceneKitDocumentViewer, which needs to be changed. The app does use GLKit but if you don't know GLKit it shouldn't matter. I need a UI expert, not an OpenGL expert. I am the openGL expert.

Of course I'll provide my current source code and Xcode project files. You'll do the fixes and return the project to me. Then I'll complete the rest of the project, add icons, etc. But if I like working with you and if I run in to another project there might be more work in the future.

I think the problem is that there is no view controller. There is an app delegate and a view. I added some fields and buttons in interface builder but can't figure out how to connect them to my code. In my iOS work I always do labels and text fields programatically. I never use interface builder. That's why I need you. Fix this and connect things and I'll do the rest. For the right person it's a quick and easy job. Start today, finish today, get paid today.

Two possible approaches. Approach 1 is to take my current code and fix it within the current project. Approach 2 is to create a new project from scratch and plop my code in there. I'm ok with either approach. 2 will probably take more time but it's debatable. In the long run it might be simpler.

In your proposal please put the words "I got this" - which will tell me that you read my description. Also tell me which approach you think is better. Put "approach 1" or "approach 2" in there as well.

I got this, Yep done a lot of IB work, linking fields to the view is straight forward. 2 ways, use bindings or code. Code takes longer but may be easier for you to maintain. "approach 1"
