I am looking for someone with sufficient experience with web scraping to assist in the implementation of a web scraping project. There are two areas in which I seek assistance. First, I am looking for someone to audit/review my code. I am interested in particular in locating any efficiency losses and security holes. Second, I am looking for someone to help anonymize and mask that the server is performing web scraping. As such, I would like the freelancer to set the user agent, and perform any software and server modifications, such as setting up the most appropriate proxy rotation service, etc. I would ultimately like the freelancer to give me feedback, and help identify solutions if need be.
Preferably, I would like someone with whom I can build a professional relationship, insofar as when I make software changes, add new modules, and launch the ancillary site, the programmer could - their scheduling permitting - take on these projects as well.
In your bid, I would greatly appreciate if you could provide a very general time estimate for how long you think it would take, and the associated cost, to implement the anonymization, and any other time estimates you can provide at this point. I can provide further project details upon request.
