Hello, I need a small change made to a custom Wordpress plugin somebody has already created for me.
Part of that plugin's functionality is to display the number of characters entered into a textbox in realtime under the textbook. This works fine when text is typed into the textbox, but if it is pasted or when it is cut, then the correct count only gets displayed once there is a key-down event inside the textbox. I want this changed so that the correct count is displayed at all times, no matter whether text is typed into the box, pasted into it, or cut from it.
You can see the functionality of the current plugin by playing with the text boxes at [login to view URL]
As an example of how I would like the counter to also be also responsive to paste and cut events, you can look at [login to view URL] (not mine).
So you can get a sense of the current plugin's code, you can see a screenshot of the main php file of my plugin (called "dev-plugin") at [login to view URL]
The main JS file of the plugin is at [login to view URL] (the counting is mostly handled by the function named "attachCharCounter").
I need this turned around within 24 hours or less and offer $50 for this modification.
You will have WP admin and sftp access but no ssh access.
