Have a cPanel web server that was upgraded. The old FormMail scripts primarily used for contact forms don't work on the new server and were insecure anyway. Need a better version of FormMail installed, such as Tectite's version (), and then get one of the contact forms to work. After the PHP script is installed and we get one of the contact forms to work, I am guessing I will be able to repeat the process on other domains on the server. Preferably if you write a little tutorial with the steps. Hi We have an existing FormMail-clone form setup on both the home page and contact page of our website, and need a captcha type addition or similar to the forms basically to stop the many many spam email that keep coming through. We are unable to have a php form by the way because of the hosting we have. I wish to have a form of session control to allow committee members access to php files in a password protected folder to edit application forms received via existing on-line formmail entries that populate a mySQL database. I currently rely on the username and password combination on the password protected folders on the server, but believe a better method would require authentication each time and be more secure. Everything works fine EXCEPT idev_ordernum=username. <img border="0" src="<>" width="1" height="1"> I'd need to use "variables" taken from the form so it's the username used in the form. My existing autoresponder is sending responses to me, instead of my clients when they fill out a form online which uses sendmail or formmail I have an online form which I want to modify so it sends a standard auto-response to the person who actually fills in the form. It would have to recognize the email address inserted in the form by the client and send an autorsponder directly to him/her. Right not, when I try, the ISP basic auto-responder they have just sends the auto-responder to me since the form actually comes from "me" (administrator).
When I used on the form at it was rejected as an invalid domain. I need this changed so that two letter domains are acceptable by the form. Hi, Only experienced professionals please. A functioning HTML website has one form on it that is sometimes not working from different computers (per the client). This currently makes use of a Perl mail script FormMail siting in a CGI bin, on a shared hosting account. Have FTP access. This is a very fast job for someone who knows what they are doing. Client has a custom built PHP CMS system, whcih has always worked pretty well. Except for right now, we have some problems; 1) the form to email does not work becuase this was built in PHP4 days and runs on EUKHost shared host servers, which do not allow for formmail, so it needs changing to SMTP mail 2) Each of the proejcts is date stamped, but whateve date I put in or series of dates it replaces the date entered with today's date.
