I am looking to develop a new device that uses a laser pointer to accurately measure only the track spacing on CDs and DVDs. Practical and innovation-focused, the device should advance the accuracy of existing measurement techniques. Due to the specific nature of this assignment, the freelancer will ideally possess:

- Strong understanding of optical technology related to laser pointers

- Experience in electronic device development or engineering

- Familiarity with CDs and DVDs structure

Whether these discs are audio CDs, data storage or video DVDs isn't a decisively key issue in this project. The focus is solely on an accurate and efficient track spacing measurement.
