It is given to an ERASMUS student with no skills in the field of telecommunications and it is expected that he touches the subjects mentioned in the PDF in a simple way.

This project will be focused on a description of wireless network characteristics,
the analysis of CA use based on these wireless network characteristics and the
CSMA/CA packet transmission principles (CSMA/CA - binary exponential bakoff
algorithm). Afterwards two channel access methods (basic access method and
optional four-way handshaking access method) are analytically presented. Finally
the structure of IEEE 802.11 protocol and MAC frame are described through
Wireshark application. The final section will conclude the project.
