Power System Simulation and State Estimation Model in MATLAB/MATPOWER

What we need is:

- Read and briefly understand the paper: Identification and Correction of False Data Injection Attacks against AC State Estimation using Deep Learning

-After that, see paper Identification and Correction of False Data Injection Attacks with Considering the Impact od Wind Generation and Topology Reconfiguration

-And finally, the IEEE 118-bus Test System paper.

The idea is to use the same approach done in the paper Identification and Correction of False Data Injection Attacks against AC State Estimation using Deep Learning, but with the IEEE 118-Bus system. I already have the code in MATLAB/MATPOWER, so you do not have to model anything from the scratch.

In the paper Identification and Correction of False Data Injection Attacks against AC State Estimation using Deep Learning they use state estimation and as it does not work, they implement deep machine learning to identify false data injection in the network, and then correct it. We need to do the same thing!

The state estimation should be modelled in MATPOWER for the IEEE-118 power simulation and then when we inject false data to detect the false data injection.

In a nutshell, IEEE-1118 Bus system power flow simulation and state estimation to detect false injection data. However, we have to test false data injection in 3 different case studies. The case studies must be the ones presented in the paper Identification and Correction of False Data Injection Attacks with Considering the Impact of Wind Generation and Topology Reconfiguration, and subsequently, test the power flow simulation with the modeled state estimation in MATPOWER when we simulate the IEEE-118 system.

CASE STUDIES:

Case 1: Detecting and Localizing Attacks without System Reconfiguration.

Case 2: Detecting and Localizing Attacks after Topology Changes (Bus Outage)

Case 3: Detecting and Localizing Attacks after Topology Changes (Line Outage)

Basically, I need:

*To simulate and analyze the IEEE-118 network in MATPOWER

*To develop a state estimation model that works with the IEEE-118 network, and detect false injection data

* To do the above point in 3 different case studies:

Case 1: Detecting and Localizing Attacks without System Reconfiguration.

Case 2: Detecting and Localizing Attacks after Topology Changes (Bus Outage)

Case 3: Detecting and Localizing Attacks after Topology Changes (Line Outage)
