I have been fascinated by electronics and radio since high school. My first was a Crystal Radio Set and honestly, it was quite a challenge to get going. But technical difficulties only spurred my interest. Then came shortwave radio, audio amplifiers and many more. Computers I met as a university freshman in the fall of 1982 and they have been my other love ever since. I know C and C++ very well. Have been using Mikroelektronika and MPLAB compilers. I am at home both with Arduino and PlatformIO IDE's. My commercial PCB work I started in the early 90-s, it was P-CAD running on a DOS platform. Around 2000 it became Protel 99SE and I have stayed with the company products. Currently, I still do my work using Altium but can find my way around other packages such as Eagle, as well.
