BuildMyApplication (BMA) is an application building framework that can generate n-tier applications (J2EE or Dot NET) from language neutral specification (XML).

• Designing Struts based architecture for generated code.
• Design, develop and unit testing of a new feature in Struts compliant J2EE generated code.
• Fully Responsible for maintaining generation templates for Tomcat, and Pramati server.
• Technical assistance to the project team for Struts based project.
• Innovating on latest technologies and guiding the technical people in NIIT.
• Designing and coding for OpenLaszlo generation templates as RIA.

Achievements
• Implemented Struts based code generation, with the aim of delivering 98% scriplets in JSP and using taglibs of struts and JSTL. We made our code to compatible with almost all the famous browsers.
• Done a prototype project for a US based Furniture Company, Corporate Express within time span of 1 week. This Project included calls to tuxedo services.
• Called as the BEST technical person.
• Was able to manage the team of 3 people in 6 months of my career.

The project involved accepting the feedbacks from anonymous users and delegating to the helpdesk person. The Helpdesk will validate each of the feedback, which they have received and decide feedbacks that need to be processed.

• Designing the Privacy Policy Page (P3P) for viewing the privacy report in the browser.
• Tuning pages for compatibility with most famous browsers.
• Integrating with zip components for downloading multiples report files from the server.
• Assisting the project team for any queries using the tool.

TimeCracker
TimeCracker is a small utility yet with powerful features, which helps you in your time management. It sits quietly on the system tray and monitors your work without disturbing you. The TimeCracker records all your record activities and helps in easy viewing with nice Microsoft Excel and HTML reports. It has nice User Interface and is used by many NIITians to prepare their timesheets. The people need not worry about time management, since TimeCracker does every part of work monitoring. It generates neat Excel and HTML report. It also has cool reminder features, which pop ups the alert with message at a specified time. It is released for public use.
Latest feature includes project based monitoring for easy project billing.

NetWorld
NetWorld is small utility designed to manage the network. It finds the host name for the IP address and vice versa. It can remotely shutdown any machine and can block any IP address (both internal and external) from accessing the machine. It has nice tree view, which displays workgroups and domains and their corresponding workstations. It works as such it is a small firewall utility.

VB2Struts
VB2Struts does conversion of Visual Basic forms into Struts based JSP pages. It does the basic control conversion, but can easily be customized to include other controls. It has mappings for each visual basic control to their equivalent Struts’ tags. The user can easily add new mappings for each new control. It involved quite a bit string parsing, but the speed is amazing. The Vb2Struts is still in its infancy.
