In 2018 I have acquired my PhD and from 2019 I started working as assistant professor at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia - http://www.dgt.uns.ac.rs/page.php?194 My main duties are performing research and lecturing students. My area of research is in geosciences, especially in climate change, urbanization and human health domains.
I have published 16 papers in the impact factor journals, the highest having IF of 5.589 (check my publications).

Modelled spatiotemporal variability of outdoor thermal comfort in local climate zones

This study uses the MUKLIMO_3 urban climate model (in German, Mikroskaliges Urbanes KLImaMOdell in 3-Dimensionen) and measurements from an urban climate network in order to simulate, validate and analyse the spatiotemporal pattern of human thermal comfort outdoors in the city of Brno (Czech Republic) during a heat-wave period.

Evaluation and improvement of outdoor thermal comfort in urban areas on extreme temperature days

The objective of this paper is to present and apply automatic algorithms to evaluate and improve non-stationary outdoor thermal comfort in urban areas. The effects of urban planning on thermal sensations are analyzed in three linear urban street designs and in non-linear arrangement of the streets with no vegetation in Novi Sad, Serbia.

Influence of changing trees locations on thermal comfort on street parking lot and footways

Cold and warm air temperature spells during the winter and summer seasons and their impact on energy

The main objective of this study is to determine and analyze cold and warm air temperature spells in the last 6 years (2007–2012) and reveal their impact on electrical energy consumption in a small-sized city such as Sombor (Serbia) with less than 50,000 inhabitants. Hourly air temperature values and electrical energy consumption data have been used as database for all methods.

Statistical Analysis of Water Quality Parameters of the Drina River (West Serbia), 2004-11

The Drina River is the biggest tributary of the Sava River, created by the merger of the Tara and Piva rivers at Šćepan Polje. The Drina represents the border between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Water quality index (WQI) is a numeric expression used to evaluate the quality of water bodies and make it more easily understood by managers.

Intra-urban temperature observations in two Central European cities: a summer study
