I handle all of his organic SEO, his website development and updates to his website. I also provide technical support with his I.T. equipment and consult on his marketing and communications strategy. The website is a bespoke portal solution that is mobile and Google optimized, provides five distinct areas per location with location categories and a landing page. The website initially used PHP with apache mod_rewrite and a flat-file structure with caching but has now been upgraded to a MySQL database and wordpress. Working through another local Agency I produced two wordpress plugins for Gunnar Optiks. One for custom navigation and one for custom background. I used PHP with AGILE and OOP design methodologies and provided support through a period when the website was being updated. This project lead to another project involving the collection of metric data on impressions, clicks, heatmaps of page sections and sales conversions. Google, Convertro and Steelhouse pixels were all used throughout these projects as was HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript using the jQuery library
