## BIO I have been enmeshed with IT and Web Development for more than a decade. I decided to become a Web Designer in order to create a vehicle for my graphic design endeavors, which in turn opened my eyes to the world of software development.  My favorite quote is "Be water" -Bruce Lee  * * * Derek Phillips has designed websites since 1996 and received specialized training in IT and Technical Writing during his tenure with Symantec as a Technical Support Analyst. He went on to aid in the in-house development and support of the ACT! CRM software application when it was sold to Interact Commerce Corporation in in 2000. Support Knowledge Base before striking out on his own as an ACT! Consultant. He has been working independantly as a contractor since 2001 developing scalable web applications for corporate clients and maintains his office in Central Pennsylvania.
