This application will be a map for gardeners where users can zone in on their area and view or post symbols that represent the plants that have grown sucesfully in their area, The app will be a lot like Trapster (an app users post symbols to represent speed cameras, traffic cameras etc.) but made so that gardeners can share find out what can be grown in their local climate. To begin with I would like to have maps for the USA, the UK and Australia. I will get a list of plants in excel and send it, Symbols will be required for each plant so there will be a graphic design requrement as wellfor someone who is willing and able to look up a picture of plant on google then creat a symbol for it. Looking for a map based website kinda along the lines of but with completely unrelated content. Map will be central feature of website with ability for users to click a location ie drop a pin. From there the ability to have a java window pop up were they will be able to add data thats relevant to the site. Basically we want a similiar product as the "Trapster" app. App will compare current GPS location and compare it to a database of POI locations and report the locations on screen as warning. Product should be able to be updatable to accept new POI data via a web server. Once project is complete and paid for, that is it no license or royalty fees will be available.
