The definition of a geographical information system is any system designed to capture, analyze, and manage spatial and geographical data. The real-world applications might be obvious, in the sense that it helps with global positioning systems, or GPS, which is utilized by everything from the military, to traffic conditions, to restaurant delivery. GIS data actually represents real objects, and the technology is open source, as well. GIS can actually refer to a number of different technologies, processes, and methods.
One of the ways that this technology is applied is in topographical models, which require a complex analysis of spatial data and analysis. Of course, it is not hard to see how GIS also applies to logistics for companies both big and small, the insurance sector, telecommunications, engineering, and management, as well.

Hello job seekers. Our company is in need of a CAD drafter specifically for a fiber optic construction map plan. This will be a long term job and the rate will be discussed for the right candidate. There is no specific time or schedule for work as long as the job is done in a timely manner. I have attached a sample map for you reference.
I need a Jupyter Notebook produced that queries the Overpass API from Open street maps. (no current preference on exact instance of the API but I should be able to edit this in the future). The script will iterate through a list of geo-coordinates (such as the one in the CSV attached) and query the entire change history based on nodes of a select type associated with that location. This change history will then be saved as a CSV file. I require the notebook to have basic formatting and commenting so I am able to edit and adapt in the future.
