I already done this type of simulation on a turbine where I modelled it in CATIA V5 and tested in ANSYS (refer my portfolio). I used air as a fluid medium which I passed at different inlet outlet velocities and pressures to detect the drag of turbine and also to know about the velocity boundary layer conditions.
