I have degree in Finance from Bradley University. I began my career working on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade, in the DJIA futures pits, working as a trading clerk for Shatkin, Arbor, Karlov, a clearing member of the exchange. I have worked on the currency desk at the largest privately-owned FCM in the world at the time, Peregrine Financial Group. For close to two years, I served as the primary market-maker on PFG's Asian markets currency desk, executing short-term trading strategies in six currency futures markets and eight spot currency crosses. I have used everything from Bloomberg to GLOBEX, Tradestation to TT to proprietary trading platforms, executing trades in real-time and utilizing algorithmic trading strategies. I started my career in Finance, and wound up in web development and internet marketing, primarily due to a large trading error that got me canned.
