I am looking for a small project, a DOS batch file (called: [login to view URL]) for XP as follows:
File Structure:
Inside the Root, there are THREE subdirectories and ONE batch file ([login to view URL])
Root Directory:
--> Waiting (this is a directory folder, which will eventually have files placed into it)
--> Expired (this is a directory folder)
--> Current (this is a directory folder)
Here's what I would like it to do...
I will be creating files, on my own, into the WAITING folder. ALL files that I create will have the same type of name:
ex: [login to view URL] means to become:
ACTIVE on 2012 01 03 at 05am ( 2012 Jan 3rd) and set to
EXPIRE on 2012 02 04 at 22 (or 2012 Feb 4th at 10pm, military time)
On running the Batch file that you create for me ([login to view URL]), ACTIVE files will be moved into the Active directory, and EXPIRED files will be moved into the Expired folder, for ALL files in the WAITING folder, based on a comparison to the LOCAL CURRENT Date & Time on the PC where the batch file resides.
Let me know if this is something you would be interested in writing for me.
Thank you!
