I'm in the process of creating a new Politics based website. For now the central theme will be the 2016 Presidential Elections. I need to find several writers to be a part of this site. While the topics covered will be serious, the tone of writing should not be too heavy or academic sounding. The approach should be to insert dry humor, sarcasm, and levity into factual article while still conveying the main point. ALL articles MUST be factual but they should also be opinionated. We're building from the ground up right now, so everything is fair game. I can send you article titles or keywords, or you can create your own topics - as long as they connect to the politics/election theme. Articles should not be less than 450 words unless prior approval is given. The job is also very flexible. If you're interested in writing 1 article, great, we'll take it. If you'd like the concept and were prefer to write articles every week, that's even better. Articles can be published under your name or can be copy-written for one of our site pen names. If you'd like to be a 'permanent' author, we can get you set up with an Author page on our site. All articles will be reviewed by an editor before being published until we have established a working relationship. This is currently listed as hourly ways. In your proposal please give a price per word quote (ex. 100 words = $1 or $10 for a 600 word post) or let me know what your hourly fee is, and the average amount of time it takes you to complete 1 article (of at least 450 words). I have blog writing experience as both a special contributor as well as a ghostwriter. I have been doing this for a while and I know how to do it right. On top of that I follow politics religiously as I try and keep my ear to whatever is happening whether it is at the federal, state, or municipal level. As far as my fee goes I charge 10 cents per word for a 500 word article which equals $50. With the proper research and sources it takes me about 2-3 hours to do an article. This may seem like a lot, but I know what I am doing and therefore if you want quality work it won't be cheap. Most of the other bidders are not from the States and therefore won't be able to give you as much as I certainly can.
