I have decades of design/development/manufacturing of assembly language MCU projects up to 2008. Retired now playing with esp8266 and C++ language. I do have a learning disability making it hard to learn from documentation. So I learn from samples codes. I am building my own WiFi manager program that is very simple and want it converted to a .h library. AND I am having problems condensing it to a void subroutine. I started out with a normally 0vdc button high when pushed. And a led. Non-pushed led is 10ms on and 2000ms off. When button is pushed(=3.3v) led is on for 200ms on/off. Then after 10 blinks it stays on and I first do scan of local wifi networks then build a page with that info and stored info in spiffs. Then I turn on ap wifi mode with a preset ssid/no password/ip=192.168.4.1. Then present this page for changes. I can’t seem to do the scan/build page/start ap as a void. I would like to then move everything to an INCLUDE so I can run different wifi projects. I know I can just set in code wifi credentials but I am trying to build a better wifi manager.
