I am a graduate student doing qualitative research based on interviews, and I need help with transcription. There are 13 interviews on 19 sound files, and the files are stored electronically on my Mac as MP3s. The total time is 11 hours and 40 minutes. Two of the interviews (2 hours and 15 minutes of recording time total) involve three people (the interviewer and a couple), but the rest are one-on-one. Everything is in English. The sound quality is excellent on all but one, 18 minute-long interview, which is still pretty clear. Ideally, I would like to have them turned around by October 1, but I'd wait longer for a reduced rate.

I can have the transcription completed in 7 days or less. I currently work as the senior transcriber for a clinical psychologist. I also have over 5 years of experience in business and interview transcription. Since this is a graduate level project, I assume you need word-for-word transcripts, but I can also edit if you prefer. I use ExpressScribe. I have the ability to set up FTP transfer if you require it, or you can e-mail the files.
