What I am am looking for is to automatically upload a text document to a remote server every night. There is a couple of problems. The name of the text document will change every day, not everyday there will be a text document, and some days it will have more then one text document. So this is what I was thinking. Have 4 seperate folders named "Game 1", "Game 2", "Game 3", and "Game 4". Then have a batch file (that is run every night at 12:00, by a windows scheduled task) that checks every folder to see if there is a file with todays date (changes per day) included in the file name. If there is a "todays date" in one of the specific folders then you upload that one file to my remote server to a sepcific folder. I hope that is possible. If there is a better way of doing this i would be interested too! Open to all ideas!

Yes, it can be done. The software will be developed in visual basic 6.0 and will run on your desktop. You will have to schedule a task using the standard scheduling utility of windows to run this software everynight. The software will check any four folders that you specify... if it finds the current date in the file name, it will upload it to the ftp server and folder that you can specify using the config screen.
