Hi All , As from Project name , I need to make GSM tracker from SIMCOM device Or other small module .
Please read carefully the requirements :
What I have Now ,
1- SIM900 module ...
It Already come with command that will replay you with longitude and latitude . Yes it work good and without any problems ,,,
the command is as following ..
AT+CIPGSMLOC
and you can refer to attachment to see the command reference.
how it work : Is as following .
the command will ask for serving cell info and take mcc mcl CellID of that cell and connect with Cell's database server via TCP IP using (AT+CPBR) command to locate this cell and replay you with longitude and latitude . ( I don't have this server ip or name ) . hope every thing is clear ..
the main issue here is that the the accurate of the location is bad (10-500m)
what I need ::
the simcom module (sim900) have this command AT+CENG command to list the 7 cell in the area , i need to use this cell's info to enhance the location coordinate , by using rx LEVEL and other info.
I will use micro controller (pic18) to control the sim900 . so that I cant take each cell id and go to laptop and chick the cell location . i need
1- Connect to cell's server ( I dont have one ). but it is available in web .
2- function in mikroc to deal with measurement ( by measure the rx level between the cell and edit the longitude and latitude to get better location.)
3- the function with will give the enhance coordinate.
note , I know I cant get coordinate with high accuracy , but between 5-100 will be good for me ..
