VB.Net / Batch / C# program to take care of a few simple processes (Tiff to PDF, FTP, Email)

I am looking for someone to create me a desktop program that will handle a few processes for me in sequence. I would prefer the program to be Batch, or VB.Net, or C# The purpose of this program is to 1. Duplicate an xml file & Tiff File 2. Convert a TIFF file to PDF 3. Email PDF file to specific address 4. “Clean?? XML file through various find/replace (pull from ini file or something) 5. FTP Cleaned XML file to specific server 6. Move TIFF, and PDF and XML files to specific “process / sent?? folders. We currently have a program that creates an XML file, and a TIFF file and saves them both into a specific folder. Example: Y:/XML/ Y:/TIFF/ We need this program to run off a windows task scheduler every x minutes and perform the following process. 1. Check Y:/XML/ folder to see if there are any documents 2. Create an original backup copy in y:/XML/Original 3. Process each document in the Y:/XML/ and do a find and replace on a dynamic list of possibilities (pulled from an INI file or something) a. Log date time, and process that was completed 4. Move File to Y:/XML/Cleaned 5. Authenticate to FTP Account (pull details login details from INI) 6. Upload Cleaned XML file to Server 7. Move File to Y:/XML/Complete Second chunk ??" Tiff File 1. Check Y:/TIFF/ folder to see if there are any documents 2. Create an Original backup copy in the Y:/TIFF/Original 3. Process each document in the Y:/TIFF/ and Convert each of the .TIFF to .PDF and save in Y:/TIFF/PDF/ 4. Email PDF to specific Email address(s) pulled from INI file (or something) 5. Move the .TIFF file to “Y:/TIFF/ToBeFaxed?? ## Deliverables Throughout each process, we need to LOG the occurrences of what happens + Log/Email any error messages to a specific email address. All “Paths?? for each process and chunk need to be dynamic so that we can update them to our file system ??" the Y:/ is just used as an example The “clean xml?? need to be dynamic and a list that we can add to ??" the reason we need this, is the program that created the XML initially does not clean it, and when people copy/paste from work, it has the wrong ASCII values to enter into our database that cannot be adjusted. So we just need to do Find/Replace on the document before FTP’ing it We need to verify if possible that the file was FTP’ed to the server folder, and log this. IF FTP is not working it should still continue onto the next step BUT Email a Notification that “FTP is not Connecting?? etc then continue on to the second chunk. I have attached a “flow diagram?? ??" you just don’t need to worry about the faxing, as we have another program that picks up here and take care of the faxing. I need this program completed in 14 days and be 100% tested and working ??" it will be used on a Server 2003 and server 2008 environment and there is no possibility to use a database, so everything must be in INI files or some sort of reference file ??" We would also like control to edit all email addresses for “logs?? “Alerts?? “For the PDF?? etc
