Design and build a production data base

Brief for VABOSS Production Data Base VABOSS manufacturers a number of SKU. Each SKU piece has unique identifiers that need to be recorded. Orders are placed in the system in multiples of 10. Piece identifiers are generally sequential. A data base will be developed in MS Access. Some of the detail will be viewable on to distributors. Distributors represent the company with customers. When a product is manufactured it is placed in the “VABOSS STOCK” (VABOSS Store). When the piece is invoiced it will be allocated to a distributor. Distributors will have access to the system and will be able to place a query to view all or part of the pieces. Queries will be according to: • Purchase order No • Customer • MAC • Config • Version • Model • Deliver date Certain fields in any record will be editable by the Distributor: • Customer • Warranty Extension Distributors will generate a printable report. The Data Base can be resident on the WWW with login access or on a cloud storage with invitation access rights. All logged in operators will have individual identifiers. Access incidents will be logged.
