Tic tac toe game in c programming

Hello everyone, i'm working on this tic tac toe project and i need some help. In fact, I need to have two version of this game, one where the size of the board can change freely with just the possibility to align 3 pieces only horizontally, vertically, or in diagonal wherever on the board and another version where it is still possible to change the size of the board but with the only difference that the user can change the number of pieces needed to align in order to win. I'm providing the piece of code that i wrote, it just need a couple of arrangement in order to get the versions. the program need to be run with the terminal using the main arguments argc argv, no scanf can be used to get the values.
