Community Engagement Manager

Freelancer Club, a community platform supporting creative freelancers, is looking for a Community Engagement Manager to nurture our community of members. You will be in charge of assisting our members throughout their journey, listening to their requirements, producing events, creating content, suggesting solutions and facilitating connections. More, you’ll be the main point of contact and leading facilitator for our Advisory Board Slack group. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Conceptualise campaigns and ideas to facilitate engagement • Generate and enhance high levels of membership connections • Monitor the engagement and suggest actionable inputs to the team. • Build strong relationships with our community, serving them with care and attention. • Animate our community via the platform and Slack group • Create member-led and team-led events using our Meetup tool • Nurture the growth of our suite of tools including Meetups, Discussions, and Collaborations. Key Qualities and Skills: • A charismatic, intuitive individual with customer-facing, community engagement experience • An understanding and passion for the freelance journey ideally in the creative sector. • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills. • Values that include fairness, ethical practices, and community. • An expert relationship builder, able to charm and interact with new people online, as well as maintain a strong personal network • A team player with excellent drive and intuition, as well as a natural aptitude for members support • Strong organisational skills with proven ability to multi-task. • Experience working remotely with a small startup team • Experience nurturing a community via Slack (or similar) • Expert knowledge of Intercom (or similar live chat tool) What’s in it for you?
