Submitting an order upon a bar close would require some form of automation. It would have to be done through a NinjaScript strategy or through custom programming to route manually submitted orders through a strategy's OnBarUpdate() method. It would need to have a Long button for going long the market and a Short button to Short the market. Pressing the button would enter a trade at the close of the bar it was entered on.

Hello, Thank you for inviting me to your project. I can create a NinjaScript strategy as per your requirements. When the Strategy is started, two buttons will be displayed on the chart, one for LONG and another for SHORT. When the user presses LONG, it will open a LONG position for the specified lot-size based on the user input at the close of the candle (open of next candle). I have two questions - 1) Is this for NinjaTrader 7 or NinjaTrader 8 ? 2) What if a SHORT position is open, and the user presses the LONG button ? Should it close the SHORT position first ?
