I am looking for quotes for a list building and qualification project. We are building the biggest database of Letting agents in the UK. The project involves: 1) Building the list: going through UK business and property directory sites (below) to get as many letting agent businesses in a given UK postcode area and getting as much information about each business as possible. 2)Qualifying the list: visiting each businesses website and confirming the basic information is correct 3)Emailing the business: to check you have collected a valid email and to try and get a contact name and size of the business The information we require should be delivered as an excel sheet with each field in separate columns as follows: Basic info: Business Name Business Address Business Postcode Business Telephone number Business email address (confirmed) Business website (confirmed) ARLA member Yes or no Additional info: If you can ascertain from the business website or by emailing the company directly: 1) approximately how many properties the company has available to let at anyone time? 2)a decision makers name eg Director/ Marketing manager or office manager. 3) if you get a decision makers direct email address. The website directories to check to build the list from are as follows [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] (under find an Agent section- need to be careful not to include private landlords) [login to view URL] ( need to seach by town rather than postcode and will need to put in that they are an Arla member) Also you may need to use google etc to find a specific agents website if it is not listed on a directory. Area: We are starting in the Birmingham area UKpost code "B" Within the Birminham postcode area there are 98 Districts so the first post code to search under all the directories would be B1, followed by B2 etc all the way to B98 If this proves a success in this area we will open up other areas to build lists in. Payment: We will not pay on an hourly basis. You should bid what you will charge for a fully qualified entry and then also put in the detail of your bid how much you want for an entry that has only the basic information as detailed above (we accept that you will not be able to find out full information such as decision makers email address on every business listing) To create a regular income flow for you we will release you A post code at a time "B" being the first and will check the results you send us against the directories to check you have included all the agents and we will send a test email to them to check that the email details are correct. And pay you. So lets say for example you bid $2 per qualified business listing and we gave you "B" and you found and qualified 100 letting agent businesses in that area and sent us the excel spreadsheet- we would check the work - pay you $200 and give you the next lot of districts to work on. As we have a lot of areas to cover we may well accept bids from more than one person and spread the work around. in total there are 12,000-15,000 agents in the uk so this project is worth a lot over time. Judith I'm happy if you wanted to do 50 send them through we pay you and you do the next 50 - or do the whole lot- whatever suits. Also you may want to see if you can get a map of the area so you can familiarise yourself with the main towns in it- I'm sure you can find something on the web that suits. Alex
