Camera application - QT, C++ - funcionality test

Freelancer is needed to create a simple application for a functionality test. Software requirements: • The program should include 4 features/buttons: 1. Play video – upon selecting option number 1, the program will play once a video of 10 seconds under a vertical XGA resolution. Movie will be provided by us (Avi,MPEG), when movie ends the software will return automatically to main menu. 2. Capture Picture – upon selecting option number 2, a live camera (over 30FPS required) will be displayed under a vertical XGA resolution and will capture 1 photo per click. a. Capture button - will capture a still image under a vertical XGA resolution. b. Main menu button 3. Display picture – upon selecting option number 3, the last still captured camera will be displayed under a Vertical XGA resolution. a. Main menu button 4. Exit software button • Main menu background should be solid black and the buttons should be in White rectangular background with black font. • Live Camera should be working at all time under a black mask (hidden), in which will appear only upon entering to option 2 (Capture picture mode) Environment requirements: • OS – Linux or WIN CE 6 and above (embedded) • Program should be delivered with the original code + EXE file • Program should be developed under QT, C++ platform • Hardware requirements : ARM processors, 800-1000HZ, 1GB memory • Camera integration should be based on user selection (either a pre-built webcam or an external USB camera) • Vertical XGA resolution at all time (instead of X-1024, Y-768…should be X-768, Y-1024) • It’s a functionality test, there is no need for GUI Additional requirements: • Based on success and satisfactory, we will prefer to use the same freelancer who worked on the preliminary test also on the full program development. • Deadline – 2 weeks.
