I have five years of experience teaching English to speakers of other languages. I have taught both face-to-face and online students from around the world. My classes are eclectic and involve the student actively participating in a friendly yet educational environment. I use a variety of methods, such as speaking, reading, writing, listening and watching. I teach students according to their levels, needs and abilities. I have experience teaching students various grammar tasks, specialised vocabulary and language used for specific situations as well as preparing students for important interviews, presentations and exams, including the various Cambridge exams.

I am a native English and Spanish speaker currently residing in Mexico, and I have worked as an ESL teacher for the past eight years. My main focus has always been business English, so I am familiar with the terms and comfortable talking about business, but as my formation is in the arts I also try to encourage my students to expand their conversation topics to cultural and social subjects. I have taught one on one, in small groups, and I currently have one student who taes his class via Skype. My focus is always on the student, on helping them produce and correcting their mistakes. I am very patient and skilled when it comes to explaining new words or correcting pronounciation.

Dear Sir/Ma'am, I would like to apply for this position of teaching English online. I am Filipina who have studied International Studies Major in American Studies back in the Philippines. I am now living in Cyprus with my British husband. My English fluency is excellent (I have American / British accent). Grammar, spelling and my pronunciation are very good. Living in Cyprus where English is not first language is very difficult especially finding income. I am doing website business as part time but I miss interacting with people online. I am friendly, pleasant, & patient especially with non-native English speakers. I was once like them so I know how to make the situation feel comfortable for both parties. I have had experience teaching 6-10 year old kids English, Science and Math back when I was still in my university as part of volunteer work. I can share screen and video chat on Skype without any problems as I have 8mbps internet connection. I am currently teaching a Chinese student to improve his oral and listening skills. I believe I can do it because I love to inspire people to be better themselves. I want to not just be their teacher but a good friend as well.
