Hello I'm a software developer with 8+ years of experience and would like to know more about the project. 1) We need to manipulate XLS sheets. So the web server must be Windows with Office installed. The only way to manipulate sheets automatically with formulas - to open sheets in Excel. This is not going to be headless but can be automated. Make one workbook with all the scripts which would manipulate the workbooks and never close. 2) We need a JSON service. Do we need to manipulate the sheets every time a request for a JSON comes? If so, it is going tricky because two requests can try to manipulate the save XLS at the same time. The solution would be separate JSON service from XLS files. Make one process to manipulate the spreadsheets and put the data to MS SQL database and the other project - perform SQL queries and send results as JSON. 3) What is the web server you are running? ASP.NET NodeJS Tomcat. Also I could develop a small standalone application which would work as a JSON server. Best regards, Denis Poduzov
