When I was in grad school, I organized and trimmed all my data in Excel and even did some analyses in it (pivot tables, basic stats, means, etc.). I had multiple semesters' worth of large amounts of data for my dissertation research, so I logged I don't even know how many hours in Excel doing tables, figures, formulas, etc. I'm not as familiar with VLOOKUPs, but I have done them and would easily get comfortable with more experience. I also use Excel for various personal things (e.g., taxes, choosing a car), so it's a program I am very experienced, comfortable, and competent with.
Not knowing what the work is, or how much there is, I can't give a good estimate on how long it will take me, but with pretty light weeks this week and next, I imagine I could accomplish a pretty quick turnaround time.
