Magazine Companion CD

This is to design an application to be auto-run from a CD once inserted in a PC. The application is to be distributed along with an entertainment magazine that is focused on MOVIES. The application is let the Magazine Reader browse through main contents of the magazine (PLUS MORE) using the CD. Amongst required features: 1- The Opening Screen must be simulating the current edition's Graphics on the COVER page and clearly mentioning the Issue #. 2- The Navigation must be front-ended with a Language Selection, and that is Arabic or English ... 3- After the Language is selected, the CD user will be presented with the menu. The menu is: 3a. Movies Featured in this Edition. 3b. This Edition's CD BONUS! 3c. Exit. 4- if 3a. is selected, a MENU appears showing Film Titles featured in this edition. It usually never exceeds 14 titles. 5- if 3b is selected, usually this is an MP3 song for a new HIT. Usually a link to an MP3 song on the CD. So the title of the Song, the Photo of the singer, and a dedication message will appear. If the user clicks on the song, Windows' default MP3 player should load the file. 6- if 3d. is slected, application exits. 7- with 3a and the Movies List appearing, if a movie is slected, then the following shall be presented to the CD User: 7a. The Film Title. 7b. The Film Cast (usually 4 names) 7c. The Films Director's Name 7d. The Film's Synopsis (in the selected language in step 2 above). 7e. a Link to Photo Gallery for the movie (usually a bunch of files available on the cd itself). 7f. a Link to the Movies's Trailer (usually a Video File in Flash .FLV format - on the CD itself.). 7g. When 7e. is slected, a Nice Photo presentation is displayed with an options to go Next/Previous through the set of photos available. 7h. When 7f. is selected, the .FLV video is played with a VCR control options so that the user can proceed forward/backwards as neccessary, or pause/play video. The project must be developed ASAP and must be tested and first release is to be made before February 1st, 2006. The Release should also be made in such a way that everything is parametrized. i.e. we should be able to make future releases by changing certain files which will change the behavious of the CD. i.e. amongst paramaters: Edition Number. Number of Movies in this Edition, and then followed by each Movie's Code definition along with the title Cover Graphic File Path Bonus MP3 Hit Path etc etc. It is also preferable that these files are somewhat hidden from user's direct access outside the FLASH application, though not necessary. 8. if 7e is selected
