Help with Garden Maintenance

This job is for a residential backyard landscape design complete with 2d blueprints. Homeowner/Client: The homeowner/client will provide documents and photos regarding the backyard area. The homeowner/client will also provide a list of areas for the freelance landscape designer to address. The homeowners are looking for a relatively simple design that can be implemented slowly over time in the form of do-it-yourself projects. However, the design shall include several quick, low cost "wins" that can be implemented right away by the homeowners to improve the look and appearance of the backyard. Deliverables: 1) The freelancer shall consult with the homeowners regarding documents and photos provided by the homeowner. The freelancer will discuss homeowner preferences and areas of concern. This meeting will likely take place in the evening or weekend via phone and/or online. 2) The freelancer shall provide two different preliminary color rendering options and consult with the homeowner regarding these renderings. This consultation will likely be in the evening or weekend. 3) The homeowner will select the preferred design, and the freelancer will provide AutoCAD or equivalent color drawings to scale in such a way as to allow the homeowner to easily install the desired plantings and structures. The preferred design shall include a list of the plants and/or building materials, specify the location of each planting/structure, and a list of estimated costs. These plantings and materials shall be appropriate to the geographical area. The freelancer shall answer any questions that the homeowner may have. Terms and Conditions: 1) The freelance landscape designer agrees not to reveal the client's/spouse's name, address or other personal information to other individuals not a party to this contract. 2) The homeowners shall own the design and use as they see fit, however, the landscape designer may use the designs/renderings as part of his/her portfolio of work. 3) All drawings and documents provided to the homeowner shall be in a pdf or other widely used electronic format readable by the homeowners. 4) Timeframes are negotiable with the homeowners prior to the start of work. Additional Information: The possibility exists that the homeowners may want to contract for similar work for the front yard in the future.
