Provide design ideas (in the form of screenshot mockups) of the user interface of a text-to-speech RSS reader application for Mac OS X. ? The application works by reading out RSS articles out loud with an animated news caster avatar (character) that is computer controlled. In other words, it aims to create your typical CNN-style news broadcast using RSS (news feed) as its data source.
Scope for the application:
* Studio Display - there is a screen/window that shows the news being read.
* RSS feed management - a set of screens/windows to manage the RSS feeds being subscribed
* Channel management - a set of screen/window to manage the news channels and news episodes
* RSS-to-channel assignments - the screen used to assign RSS feeds to channels for reading
This is a Mac OS X desktop application and thus Aqua user interface components are necessary.
The application name is News Anchor and its current version is available for free download (14-day trial) at [login to view URL] -- the trial period should be sufficient enough for you to get an idea of how the application works.
This work is to re-design the look and feel (user interface) of the ? next version of the application.
When bidding, please provide some examples of user interface mockups that you have done in the past -- this is so that I can get a sense of your "design style" and see whether its a match.
## Deliverables
A minimum of three sample screenshots, along with the "source" versions of those screenshots (needed for future modification of the screenshots).
* A mockup news studio screen, which contains the newscaster avatar, an example picture inset of the news being read, news headline, and studio background scenery.
* A mockup channel management screen which contains the channels and episodes.
* A mockup feed management screen.
* Assets of componetized (separated) version of all of the above materials - these are the source images to be used as user interface image assets to the final application.
The sample screenshots are preferably in PNG or JPG format (PNG required if there are transparency). ? As for the source version of the screenshots, an open vector format is preferred (SVG or anything that can be modified by the open-source Inkscape application). ? But if you prefer to send in Lineform or Adobe Illustrator format, it will be also acceptable.
