I am running a NING v2 ([login to view URL]) site with more than 2.300 users, and have a Lotus Notes database to keep track of a lot of things about the users.
To transfer the members to my Lotus Notes database, today I use the NING UI function "Export All Member Data (.CSV)", and imports the result into my Notes database, for further transactions. This is quite a heavy process, and I know that NING has an API ([login to view URL]) to access the data from outside, but unfortunately I'm no Javadude, so I need someone who's experienced in java, and that has been working with NING, or is willing to learn their API and understand their platform a bit. We talk v2 !!! NOT v3 !!!
For all functions, I need to give some credentials to log into NING, and these need to be implemented in your solution too.
Here are the functions I need.
1) Getting data about all my NING-members:
I need to "call" NING to get a list of data for all my NING members, including all what the "Export All Member Data (.CSV)" delivers. The call should return an array or structure that I can traverse and work with. I also need to get the members pictures somehow!
2) Deletion af NING member:
I need to be able to call NING with a user ID, and delete the actual member.
3) Getting events:
Today I go to every event on the portal, and export an *.ics file, imports it into my Notes calendar, and processes these imported appointments. I need a function, where I (like for the members) can get back all events in a given period of time, including the picture and all data about the event.
I would very much like you to make the LS2J functions too, delivering me a Lotus Script and Java Library in Notes that I can work with, but if you can only make the Java part, then I can find someone else to do bind it into Notes via LS2J.
Kindly
Lars
