There are numerous 3rd party add-ons available, for example for the implementation of a JSON Webtoken. But it is also possible to develop your own simple token based mechanism. - For the frontend we recommend to develop a JavaScript based single page application. Vue.js can be used as a framework, and [login to view URL] as a CSS framework for a mobile look.
