Google map real time, pins from pubnub real time

I would like to get a proof of concept working for using pubnub to send real time geolocation points to a google map and having some visualization happening. Basically we have each visitor to our site geo coded to long late and we want to see a google map show these traffic visits in real time. you would use some sample set of geo data for the proof of concept and then emulate a server app (probably in node) sending messages to pubnub and then having the visualization appear on the client on google map. We don't need a db here, the node app can invent random data points in north america. need some way to trigger starting the stream, maybe a start and stop button on a page. this way its not running all the time
