A kinematic scheme does not seem a big problem, basically it is in the picture you provided, just needs to be converted to commonly used symbols. For dimensional calculations some contact pressure between balls and grooves will be assumed, probably from ball bearings as a similar design. And analogy to ball bearings will be probably used to calculate size and number of balls. To calculate efficiency seems unrealistic for me. I will take a closer look at the task if any interest from your side would be shown, please contact me if interested.
