I have a great experience in warehousing and I know the process and flow of a warehouse and that will make it easy for me to do the Job. We will number the pallets for trace ability and also we need to tag a location code for the racking and also tagging of barcode in the goods is crucial specially when you have a product that is so similar by physical appearance. During receiving of goods we will entry the pallet number where the goods is file and maybe we will have a default location per goods for entry purposes it's called the staging location. After it will be transfer to the rack where it should be stack the user will update it's current location. During delivery of goods the user will now select the available stocks base on location and pallet number where it is easy for the picker to locate and pick up during creation Delivery Receipt. This is just a small detail of what we can do for this project.

I have created MS Access applications for warehousing, inventory, dispatching, customer service, etc. In regard to your specific project, there are many details that I would like to discuss that you may or may not of already thought of. A few examples are: • What do you use to track inventory now and how will that data be populated in your new system? • Are you envisioning maintenance screens for adding new SKU's and locations? • At time of receipt, besides recording of SKU and quantity, are there other items that need to be associated with the receipt: Lot numbers, bill of lading numbers, employee who received it, inbound carrier, etc? • Are you envisioning the system to suggest storage locations to ensure high volume items are stored closest to main aisleways? • Are you envisioning a way to cycle count and/or adjust inventory either up or down? • How do you receive orders from your customers and can that be integrated with the system to auto generate pick tickets with SKU, rack location, quantity needed, etc? I apologize and do not want to be long winded, but there are alot of details in setting up a true WMS that ensures the integrity of your inventory.
