Order Taking / Online Proofing System

**This is a brief description to introduce this project. Please read the attached document for complete specifications.** This project entails development of a secure interactive shopping cart, combined with an online proofing and back-end communication system. We are a small printer who wishes to enable companies to place orders for presentation folders online. The foundation of the product system will be a series of web pages where the buyer can design their folder online (including the ability to upload a logo) and see an online proof of their design, with the ability to make changes if desired (this site needs to allow an iterative design process for the buyer). The buyer should also be able to save his design at any point during the process, to be accessed later via a username and password. Once satisfied with their proof, then the buyer should be able to see a price for the job, calculated by this program. The buyer should then be able to repeat the process for other items if desired, (placing each project into his “shopping cart??) then pay for his order through a standard, secure checkout system. Product costs, shipping and other costs will be calculated based on an editable table that we will provide. *More information is included in the attached specifications document. **Please acknowledge that you have read and understand that document in your bid. ** We will need to review your past experience and contact references prior to awarding this project. Please include links to past work and references we can contact in your bid, or a separate note.* ## Deliverables 1) The program must flawlessly perform each of the steps listed above and in the attached specifications document. 2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows: Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. 4) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 5) The program must be liberally commented in the English language. Note: I'm looking at this as a "test project" to determine quality of work as a basis for a long-term relationship with a programming partner. I reserve the right not to award this job if satisfactory bids are not received. ## Platform The program should be self contained, and run in a MicrosoftIIs environment using ASP, Oracle or SQL, and some Javascript.
