I am in the process of setting up an education website including eLearning and Virtual Classroom. I have got a domain name and signed up with a web hosting company and set up the basic site. Key components planned (and some implemented to a degree) for the site are as follows:
1) Moodle based course management component (more or less set up already by myself)
2) Joomla based content management including the front page; I have the default template in place - need help in massaging it into what I need (user friendly, colorful, professional look) plus putting in my content in the right places
3) Ecommerce component to accept payments (again default template is in place, need help to massage it into the right format and content as well integration with Moodle)
4) Message board/ forum (more or less set up)
5) Virtual classroom component leveraging a webconferencing software (using a third party for this - would like inputs on alternative home grown solutions or how best to integrate the 3rd party into the website so it is seamless)
6) Miscellaneous: would like to include a tips/ question email subscription that is sent out automatically; also would like to figure out a way to archive or post video recording of sessions on the website so students can access it in case they miss a class
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
