This project is designed to simulate a client/server chat program. The JAVA language should be used for this. However, it should be made clear that ONLY the client portion is required here and no GUI is required. See attached documents. The GUI has already been implemented and I would like to find someone willing to "bring life", if you will, to the buttons and text fields, etc. The buddy list is not so important but it would be nice to see functionality to it. Bonuses will be issued for timely work. The most fundamental part is getting code applied to the chat window. All code should be clear, concise, well commented, and compatible with Eclipse editor. This work MUST be complete on the morning of Sunday Dec 6, Eastern Standard Time. Coder should preferably be available after submission for any modifications. Availability via AIM would be helpful and I will work with the coder while they work if needed. I am not going to spend an arm and a leg here on this, but I am willing to pay a reasonable amount for quality work.
