Need to modify the Banner Manager that comes standard with osCommerce. I have already completed the admin side but am becoming stuck on modifying the banner display function.
The banner manager is setup using 8 different banners groups which pertain to the banners size. This works perfectly until trying to add a Flash banner. So a new option in the admin was created to specify whether the banners is Flash or Gif.
In the database the Type is stored as follows:
Image = 1
Flash = 2
Groups are as follows:
354x55
213x213
215x44
A133x133
B133x133
C133x133
300x250
470x60
I have the need for several if/else statments in the banners function to pull the banners type and group from the database.
The if/else statements need to look something like this:
if ($banner['banners_types'] == '2') && ($banner['banners_group'] == '470x60') { FLASH CODE HERE } else {
This needs to be done for each of the 8 groups.
There also needs to be a final else statement which will display the image banner by default if none of the above options exist.
This should be a quick job for someone with php and osCommerce knowledge.
