Web site spider for shopping comparison

We are building a wine oriented shopping comparision website. We need someone to provide a spider that will spider [[login to view URL]][1], get extract product information and enter _only_ the product information into a database. We do not need the web pages stored. The information that needs to be extracted for each product is: 1. Name of wine being sold 2. Size of bottle in ml (375, 750,1500,3000,6000) - **if the bottle size is not on the page, it should default to 750** 3. Price in numeric format 4. dateTime information was extracted The spider must be complete and accurate - all wines need to be listed and the information for each must be accurate. We will provide a MS SQL db. **You must provide a method that we can install on our servers and run routinely to constantly update the product information.** Preference will be given to solutions that run on MS Windows machines and/or are Coldfusion based. Please check our other proposals - we have one other spider proposal for bid. The winning bidders could potentially be designing several hundred of these for us. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): **a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.** b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform MS Windows 2000+ Option: Preference will be given to Coldfusion 5 based solutions.
