I'm a webmaster for an adult fiction website ( [login to view URL] ) the main body of the site is running on the software eFiction ( [login to view URL] ) a few months ago the owner of the site bought a license for Digichat ( [login to view URL] ) and I set it up on the site.
We wanted to create a database so that only users who are registered can log into the chat room. Digichat's support offers something they call "Single Sign-On" which they set up to work with the current database. Unfortunately eFiction is programmed so it tends to close every MySQL connection other than it's own. So because we already require users to register for different parts of the site anyway (eFiction, Forums, Gallery) we want to set up a separate database for Digichat.
We know something very similar has been done as it's running on the website Literotica ( [login to view URL] ). I've tried to contact that site's owner and webmaster and never got any response but seeing how there pages/code is set up might be useful?
The support guys for Digichat wont do the job so I'm looking for someone to set it up or at least help me set it up. I am experienced with HTML, CSS and script installation but PHP and MySQL is pretty new to me.
I can provide any other information you need before hand. Please don't hesitate to ask questions.
